I liked the ease of scheduling my appointment on-line. Although I live very close to another Chevrolet dealership, I chose Shaheen initially because the other dealer was not open on Saturday. I then scheduled for Monday. My appointment was confirmed by phone and also email. However, when I arrived - 3 minutes late, there were 3 cars ahead of me. Someone came out and told me there was a scheduling mishap and that they were short handed. He also quickly adjusted the time on my dashboard to daylight savings time. They made arrangements to get me in to another bay after a half hour wait. That said, the person who worked on my vehicle was super efficient; I could see everything was a team effort. And although, all-told it was one hour from start to finish, I left with a flower (yes, as a woman I love flowers) and a smile on my face.

My service technician was great. Service was done in a timely manner. I was told that my thermostat housing was cracked but I never seen the old part also I remember when the diagnosis was never charged when a customer got the vehicle fix at your establishment I just feel that your prices are way too much, so if we can't afford a new Chevy and we can't afford to get the old one fixed no one wins the game. I suggest be different than your competitors and put the customer first,. Would Ralph and the Gm family rather have 5 customers or 5000 customers and stand out from the rest. I say give back and let the people know you really care, I've watched you grow. Well I was just saying I'm very sure this looks like the rest of the US complains.

On my recent service visit, here's what happened. My advisor was Jason Jones. He listened intently to what I was there for. He asked questions when he didn’t fully ascertain what the problem was. From that point, the car was taken. I received a shuttle ride back home, received texts as to what the status was or if they required more information on what the issue was and then when it was completed, brought my car back to my home. It was a smooth process. I have purchased 5 vehicles from Shaheen’s over 2 decades. From their sales personnel, to financing, oil changes and service department, I have never had any complaints. We had been approved for an auto loan through our bank and were waiting for the dealership to finalize the process so the bank could issue the check. Everything was in order on our end. After some discussion, we were persuaded to consider a different option for what we were told could be a better deal. Several hours later, we were informed that the dealership could not provide a better offer; by that time, the bank was closed. We were then notified that the vehicle had a check engine light and was in the service department. Unfortunately, due to poor and inconsistent communication throughout this process, the dealership lost a confirmed sale. I called back today to check on another vehicle and express my frustration with them just to be told I'd get a call back, with it being hours later and no call. I'm very disappointed as this has been our families go to for vehicles, especially with our history in GM workers. I will never recommend this place again as it has completely turned shady and unprofessional.

After spending 75k on a vehicle and having an issue that led to a simple $200 repair (still in warranty) Shaheen was unwilling to make it right. I really enjoyed my experience purchasing a vehicle with their team, but unfortunately on the back end when you expect a company to actually be a support they did not come through. A huge disappointment and really taints the Shaheen brand. Their team was not willing to go the extra mile on something so small. It wasn’t about the money it was about making it right on a mistake they clearly should have been help accountable for. If you are looking for a dealership that is willing to “sell you” and sweep you off your feet but not hold true to their word on the back end this is the dealership for you. Super disappointed and I’m sure I am not the only person they have treated this way. As a business owner that buys a brand new vehicle every 2 years (cash) I’ll be going elsewhere.

Need to give a shout out to Phil for his outstanding service! Before going to Shaheen for my oil changes I use to go to those jiffy lube type places. Every single time I went for a simple oil change they ALWAYS pressured me into getting additional things done which were “necessary” and couldn’t wait to do. This high-pressure tactic made me hate going in to get a simple oil change! When I took my car in to Shaheen I was expecting to need an air filter. Phil checked the filter and said I could more than likely make it to the next oil change. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Sales Rep. Jake Haner for about a month and a half, stopping in no less than 4 times and blowing up his phone about 100 times, all while he tried to find the perfect new vehicle for me. To say that I’m particular, and hard to please is a massive understatement. After all, this would be my first NEW car purchase. Jake braved winter conditions while he was sick, to clean off a vehicle for me to drive. This was so I could get a feel for the ride of a truck that we both knew I wasn’t going to purchase. I felt bad about this and told him I’d come back another time but he refused and said let’s go for a ride. I was sold on the 3.0L Baby Duramax. In this process we found a vehicle at a different dealership in Illinois; so I made a down payment. The driver who fought through traffic to Illinois to pick up the vehicle noticed that it wasn’t in as good of condition as they said it was. Not all dealers are trustworthy if you can believe that. Jake protected me from buying a vehicle that he knew I wouldn’t be happy with and they left that car behind where it belonged. We were able to use the down payment on the new vehicle but only after multiple failed attempts at trying to get the perfect one that I wanted from other dealers. Realizing that my dream to own my first new truck/Tahoe with a diesel engine was coming to an abrupt end I started to feel helpless inside and give up. When all of the sudden the impossible happened and GM had 0% financing for 2024 Tahoes. It’s as common as seeing an albino jaguar in the wild. So my wife and I quickly went to work and we found a Tahoe right under our noses at Shaheen. Jake was able to subdue the competition for this highly sought after diamond in the rough, until I could drive the HC Tahoe 6.2L V8. Wow was it an impressive ride and it had all of the features that my wife and I had agreed upon (minus my desire for a diesel engine). We both loved it and the rest of the purchase was as easy as pie. They (Jake, Troy, & Lenny) made sure all my questions were answered and Jake even followed up to see how the new Tahoe was working out for us. I told him “My wife loves her new ride! And I’m beginning to enjoy driving her car. If you made it this far I’ll tell you that I’m going back to Shaheen and only working with Jake when the time comes for my wife to get a new vehicle. They looked out for us and were patient with us during this endeavor. I won’t go anywhere else and I’m referring everyone to Jake.

The first time was when selling a vehicle and then buying a new one from family, and then the second time when having to buy another new vehicle after my previous one was totaled in an accident. It took 4 weeks to get my car back. 2 weeks was because of the Insurance and the other 2 weeks was Shaheen getting all my parts that I needed, to paint it, and to clean it up to look nice.
