My kids have been showing livestock at the Ingham County Fair the last several years and Shaheen has been there supporting the kids as a buyer at the large animal auction each year. I have bought & had all services done at Shaheens for at least 25 years. Our last vehicle purchased was when my husband was still getting loving care by me. It was a 2018 Green Equinox fully loaded. Since it was hard fir husband to get around at that time, Shaheens trusted enough to drive it home to have my husband give an ok or not. His decision was exactly like mine...we chose it for our favorite color of green. Was very understanding by letting me show husband. He was able to go to Shaheens to sign papers & had them ready so we wouldn't have to wait long. He had a stroke which his health declined to dementia. He has since passed & I still have & own Equinox coming upon 10,000 miles soon. I have kept up on oil changes & just had it in shop for a repair, with free ride taking me home while needing repair & picked me up when job was finished. My salesman, Joe Haidamous, made this the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I was buying a used car and he found a perfect car for me because he listened to everything I asked for. He explained everything very clearly and made getting through the paperwork very clear and simple, and there is a lot of it! I was able to find my car, test drive it, turned in my old car and I drove my 2025 Equinox LT home the SAME DAY! He walked me around the facility to show me where I would go for whatever I might need and introduced me to some of the folks who would be doing regular maintenance. Joe was both professional and personal and has encouraged me to reach out to him with any questions or issues.. Honestly, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give him a 100!

No one even acknowledged me after pulling into the service bay. There was a group of about 3 guys standing around talking to each other. After close to 5 minutes of being there, one of them came over to me and said my service adviser would be over shortly. When he did arrive to check my car in, he was clearly preoccupied with taking care of other things as he took my info. He was nice and cordial but seemed to have a lot of things on his plate. I brought my car in the evening before my 0745 the next day. At 4:45 pm the next day I had not heard anything on the progress of my vehicle and the text app said it was still in inspection stage. I called to see what was going on and was told that the technician got caught up on something else. I understand that things happen and was not angry at that. However, if my car was going to be held overnight, I'd have appreciated someone calling/informing me prior to it being so late so that I could have made alternative transportation plans. The next day I was contacted and told that my vehicle had been inspected and that I needed to make arrangements to have my car towed.I panicked a bit and asked why? It was a mistake and the service adviser realized and apologized. I bought my Cadillac from the Chevy used cars and have had it serviced at the Cadillac service center. I never had any problem with their service but realize maybe its because its Cadillac. So overall, my experience with the Chevy service was nothing to rave about. Though this was not the worst experience ever, there was enough there that I will try one of the other local Chevy service centers next time for repairs.
