I purchased a 2018 Chevy Traverse, Certified Pre Owned, from Shaheen Chevrolet on March 1, 2021. My sales representative was John Korrey. John was very knowledgeable about all of their used vehicles. He was very friendly and helpful explaining their vehicles and answering questions, while standing back and no pressure sales tactics. All-in-all it was a very good experience looking for a used vehicle. I would recommend Shaheen for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Bought my 2019 Trax from Jack van Pelt. Wonderful guy, very helpful. Delayed review but for good reason. I've continued my business with Shaheen after purchasing my vehicle there for a reason. Jack has stayed in contact making sure the vehicle I bought is still the right fit. Even the guys at the Oil Change center are incredibly helpful and professional, downright even friendly for the rep most mechanics get. They also just recently opened up their Cadillac lot expanding their inventory and their selection by a TON. Will be buying my next car here when the time comes.

We've taken vehicles to Shaheen Chevrolet of Lansing for service for over 10 years. They've always treated us well, are competitive on pricing, and stand behind their work. We've had service done at a handful of other dealerships and Shaheen is consistently the best. Most recently, we opted to purchase from Shaheen. A manufacturer repurchase left us in need of a vehicle and Zach Brendahl delivered. He was friendly and down to earth. It never felt like a sale at any point during the process, rather someone just genuinely interested in our story and helping us out. Super low pressure and incredibly accommodating from start to finish. Being able to text or email for quick things was a huge perk as well. Our expectations were exceeded in nearly every aspect. We need more sales people like Zach! When we're ready for our next vehicle, we know exactly who to call.

Being a customer here for over 9 years, the customer service remains exceptional and that staff has always been, and continues to be, very helpful and sincere. Between Quick Lube and the Service Department, there was excellent communication and team work. They also went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was able to schedule the service appointment before I had to be to work, they provided me with a rental car, and called me with updates on the status of my car throughout the day. My car was finished by the time I was out of work. My three-year old daughter was the happiest though because she got to choose her own flower. Finally made the move to get a new car and couldn’t have chosen a better place! This was my first time buying a new vehicle like this and I never knew what to expect but they really came through. The customer service is just unbeatable and they really know how to make you feel like family there. And walking in the building I’ve never seen a car dealership look so nice!! Like from floor to ceiling it was just amazing. And the cleanliness was great too. Especially during these times we need to be cleaning more often and that’s definitely what was happening. So clean! Was looking for a cajun red Equinox and was able to take it for a test drive. Love the way it drives with its peppy turbo charged 1.5. All of the staff at Shaheen were friendly and great to interact with. Drove away with my beautiful red Equinox in an afternoon. Highly recommend Don and Shaheen!

Had a great time working with Dave Hanna. The used car market has been tight and no other dealerships were able to negotiate. However, when I told Dave my price he was willing to actually have a discussion. On principal alone I decided to make my purchase here. Go see the used car guys. They are great. As with all dealerships, they try to sell you on the warranty. Not a huge fan of that and they did suggest I put it on a credit card. Dave Ramsey would be disappointed. No need to go into debt out of fear. However, that’s their job. So I understand. Overall, someone should give Dave (and Matt his manager) recognition for the great work they did. Thanks guys!

I received a free oil change, tire rotation and vehicle service after a very poor experience at Shaheen in Lansing. I just used my free certificate. This time I elected to stay in my vehicle so I could see what was done. I was told I need new tires(again). Now mind you I was told I needed new tire LAST time I was here, my tires were 6 weeks old at the time. So today my response to the gentleman that my tires are less than 6 months old. His reply was well they are Michelin and you drive a lot your tires measure at 5/32. He also told me I needed an alignment (which was also done 6 months ago). He showed me the report and I'm .001 off center line. That eventually I would notice my vehicle pulling. My wiper blades were all good, my horn works, my windshield condition is good, my cabin filter is good, and my oil life monitor was reset, and I was all set to go. I sat in my vehicle the entire time, he never inspected any of these and never reset my oil life monitor. This place is less than honest. Be very careful using their service department. On my way home I stopped and had the tread depth on my tires inspected at another shop and my tires are still brand new. Imagine that.

Bought my car this week after SEVERAL weeks trying various cars and NEVER felt any pressure just to buy. They handled everything with financing, and laid out all the warranty options so that I could make an informed decision. And again, no pressure to just buy. I'm so happy to have Shaheen be my new dealership! EDIT: Wait, what? You greased the door hinges, vacuumed my car, made sure my tire pressure was good, car wash AND I got a fresh carnation with my oil change?

We live in the Lansing area and have three daughters, the youngest age 19 and a sophomore at MSU. Over the years, I've handled the first and second used-car buying exercise with each daughter. I'm also a long-time business owner, so I'm obviously very busy. For each daughter, we used the same process and approach: determine what they would like in a used vehicle, pair that with what we wanted them to have for practical purposes (four- or all-wheel drive for our winters, good safety/crash-test ratings, non-smoker) and set a budget we could afford when it came time to start looking. For the first two daughters, we never had much luck at Shaheen. This time, however, in June we found 2016 Equinox right in our price range. It was super clean, had just 17,000 miles, and checked all our other boxes. The salesman, Keith Walters, was terrific. About a month after buying the car, the A/C stopped working, followed a day or so later by the windshield wiper fluid system conking out. Unfortunately, the bumper-to-bumper warranty had expired about a month before our purchase. We took the car to Shaheen service, where I obviously expressed my strong disappointment with both issues cropping up so soon after purchase and warranty expiration. While the vehicle was being serviced, they put our daughter into a rental so she could get to work. And when the repairs were done, they stepped up and covered everything. We did not have to pay a penny. I've been a loyal Chevy and GM customer for decades. When it comes time for our next new car, I'll definitely give Shaheen a shot as they've earned it. Thanks Keith for being our advocate, and thanks Shaheen for standing behind what you sell.

I expected a lot better. I had an appointment with Hayden i think his name was and when i walked in Brent Cram decided to work with me instead. And when we sat down Brent started to ask me question and it felt like an interrogation. He was rude, unprofessional, talking about how bad his kids are and made car shopping super stressful. He tried to take advantage of a kid who was buying his first new car. also He kept telling me how much he doesn't car if i buy a vehicle or not and it was super rude. I wish Hayden would have been my salesmen like the original plan. The one time i did talk to Hayden he was super nice and respectful. offered me coffee and water and was super respectful. I'm not rating Shaheen 1 star because I'm sure they have a lot nicer salesmen, I'm rating my salesman Brent 1 star. Go to Feldman... They are a lot more friendly and don't interrogate people.

My Mom passed away, and We went to the used car section for some advice. She left behind a 2017, red, Chevy Silverado truck. It only has @1,300 miles. I asked for a trade in value. The guy who evaluated the vehicle, grumbled, nodded his head, and acted EXTREMELY put out, and never made eye contact with us. I explained that the truck wasn’t practical for our family, and we were thinking about a Traverse. The price he offered us, was insulting! Thousands of dollars less than the other dealers we went to. Needless to say, he was happy to see us go, so he could return to his cell phone. I couldn’t believe the unpleasant, and unprofessional service we encountered.
