So we purchased a 2024 Tahoe spending the most we ever spent on a vehicle. We purchased the Zurich insurance with being told it covered everything inside and out. Three days after we bought it, I accidentally drove on white line paint. It got on the side of the paint, running board and both felt wheel wells. The road was not marked. I went to a body shop got a quote. Turned it into Zurich and was told it only covered paint. Went back to Shaheen and the used sales manager had me bring it in. Had a loaner for me to borrow. Had it for a week. I got called to pick it up. Get there, got paint off running board. Sales manager tells me he painted my felt wheel wells black. Mind you, this is without my consent. He also informed me that the black paint will eventually chip off. I am not a happy customer! I am furious. As my husband is too. This is an $80,000 vehicle. Would you want your felt wheel wells painted black without your consent? And now instead of doing the right thing and replacing the felt wheel wells he says we are black mailing him. What are we black mailing him about? We went there because we knew the salesman. Thought we were going to have a great experience and this is what it has come down to. We will never buy another vehicle from there AND we will NEVER recommend them to anyone ever!

Micah was awesome; however I would have preferred to not have to wait in my vehicle when being serviced. And in doing so, I found it very unprofessional to have to listen to vulgar language by your team while waiting in my vehicle. That’s not the place when you have customers within earshot.

Both times, I worked with Dave Hanna and my experience was great. He made sure that I was confident with my purchase decision because both vehicles were used. Both Dave and the finance department went above and beyond to get me the best financing possible, which wasn't easy with the age and mileage of the vehicles I chose. I rarely give five star reviews, because nothing is perfect, but both of my experiences with Dave Hanna and Shaheen Chevrolet were as close to perfect as I could get.

Got an oil change at Shaheen and was told I needed new brakes and several other costly repairs—$3,500 worth. I took it to my trusted mechanic for a second opinion, and he said the brakes were perfectly fine and the work wasn’t necessary. It’s been almost a year since, and the car’s been running great. Definitely glad I didn’t go through with the service they recommended. Do better guys.

I recently purchased a brand-new Chevrolet Traverse Z71 from Shaheen Chevrolet. Unfortunately, my initial experience was less than ideal, as I felt ignored by the sales staff during my first visit. When I returned to take possession of the vehicle, I noticed a scratch on the front bumper that had not been there during my test drive the previous day. Jeff, a sales manager, incorrectly stated that the scratch came from the manufacturer. That said, Taegan Hoffman was the saving grace of the entire experience. His professionalism, transparency, and genuine dedication to customer service were outstanding. Taegan made me feel valued and supported throughout the process. Moving forward, I hope Shaheen Chevrolet takes steps to ensure that all staff are trained to respect every customer who walks through the door—regardless of appearance or assumptions. Every customer should feel welcomed, not judged, and as though they are the only customer in the showroom. Creating a consistently inclusive and attentive experience will only strengthen Shaheen’s reputation and customer relationships. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Sales Rep. Jake Haner for about a month and a half, stopping in no less than 4 times and blowing up his phone about 100 times, all while he tried to find the perfect new vehicle for me. To say that I’m particular, and hard to please is a massive understatement. After all, this would be my first NEW car purchase. Jake braved winter conditions while he was sick, to clean off a vehicle for me to drive. This was so I could get a feel for the ride of a truck that we both knew I wasn’t going to purchase. I felt bad about this and told him I’d come back another time but he refused and said let’s go for a ride. I was sold on the 3.0L Baby Duramax. In this process we found a vehicle at a different dealership in Illinois; so I made a down payment. The driver who fought through traffic to Illinois to pick up the vehicle noticed that it wasn’t in as good of condition as they said it was. Not all dealers are trustworthy if you can believe that. Jake protected me from buying a vehicle that he knew I wouldn’t be happy with and they left that car behind where it belonged. We were able to use the down payment on the new vehicle but only after multiple failed attempts at trying to get the perfect one that I wanted from other dealers. Realizing that my dream to own my first new truck/Tahoe with a diesel engine was coming to an abrupt end I started to feel helpless inside and give up. When all of the sudden the impossible happened and GM had 0% financing for 2024 Tahoes. It’s as common as seeing an albino jaguar in the wild. So my wife and I quickly went to work and we found a Tahoe right under our noses at Shaheen. Jake was able to subdue the competition for this highly sought after diamond in the rough, until I could drive the HC Tahoe 6.2L V8. Wow was it an impressive ride and it had all of the features that my wife and I had agreed upon (minus my desire for a diesel engine). We both loved it and the rest of the purchase was as easy as pie. They (Jake, Troy, & Lenny) made sure all my questions were answered and Jake even followed up to see how the new Tahoe was working out for us. I told him “My wife loves her new ride! And I’m beginning to enjoy driving her car. If you made it this far I’ll tell you that I’m going back to Shaheen and only working with Jake when the time comes for my wife to get a new vehicle. They looked out for us and were patient with us during this endeavor. I won’t go anywhere else and I’m referring everyone to Jake.

Dave picked me up at the airport and sold me a Camaro ss. The staff over there was very nice friendly and professional.
