We were looking to upgrade our vehicle after a decade and had purchased a car from Shaheen over 20 years ago before moving out of state. Well, we are back in Michigan and there was only one place to go for a great car buying experience…Shaheen. Devan Reed was helpful, patient and showed us trucks in our price range both used and new. I would recommend this dealership and Devan to anyone looking for a new or used car or truck.

I worked with Sam, who made my decision on purchasing a 2020 Equinox very easy. He was patient, answered all of my questions and never pressured in order to complete a sale. I left without a vehicle on my first visit so I could think about the decision and ultimately returned to the Lansing location as opposed to visiting my local dealer simply because of the trust I had with Sam as my sales guy! He is really amazing!

My car was in for repair/a new engine. The service department did not submit the claim for three days according to Zurich our warranty company. Communication was extremely poor. I was not kept informed of the status of the repair. It took them four weeks to complete. I understand the lag time in getting parts, etc. added to the time frame. My advisor, Matthew Mile's was pleasant but not dependable when he promised to call me. In that, I'm very disappointed. All other employees who took my calls were pleasant. This was our seventh vehicle purchased at this dealership. At this point we have not decided if we will purchase from this dealership in the future. My car runs great and I hope it continues to do so. I feel this advisor needs additional training in communicating with customers and how to follow through. Finally, a very disappointed customer.

Great job communicating and very fast for my transmission replacement. However, they do charge a 3% fee for credit card use which I didn’t know about and I find to be ridiculous. I’ll definitely pay with a check next time. I don’t understand why businesses are doing this now when they’ve always “hidden” the fee before. It’s got to be more expensive to deal with cash and chasing bad checks. Four out of five stars!
